A long range beacon won't help you go through walls or other obstacles that block Bluetooth. A more powerful beacon will only have a small additional affect going through walls than a less powerful one. You will only achieve a significantly longer range when there's a clear line of sight. You will only get a long range indoors if you have a large space such as a concert hall, stadium or event hall.
